How to View and Access Searches
From the main CATS desktop go to the My Homepage section.
Select the Searches option.
The Searches screen displayed, as below.
The list of searches previously saved will be displayed, as above.
- Double-Click on the search that you would like to view.
The procedure is the same as described in the HOW TO MODIFY AN EXISTING CORPORATE ACTION in the CA EVENT CAPTURE AND CLEANSING section of the manual.
If you double left-click on a saved Corp Action, search this will open it to view.
If you right-click on a saved Corp Action search, there are several options:
The key functions are:
- Run- Will run saved search and display it in the main CATS desktop.
- Edit- Will open the Corp Action search panel to allow it to be edited.
- Delete- Will remove the saved search from the list.
- Schedule Report- Will open My search/All Events screen and allow you to Schedule a Report.
- Extract- Will allow you to save to file.
How to View and Access Exceptions
From the main CATS desktop.
Go to My Hompage section of the CATS desktop.
Select the Exceptions option.
The Exceptions screen is displayed, as below.
This displays a list of exceptions in the system e.g. 1(10) Cannot Calculate.
The first number relates to the number of Corporate Actions e.g. 1.
The second number (in brackets) relates to the number of exceptions e.g. (10).
If you right click on an item in the list, there are two options:
The key functions are:
List CAs – provides a list of the CATS files containing those exceptions.
List Exceptions – provides a list of the exceptions
Select List CAs
The screen is displayed, as below.
